Any registered owner can apply for a duplicate registration certificate in case the original one is either lost or mutilated after submitting following documents:-
Documents required
- FORM 26
- GENERAL DIARY ENTRY
- AFFIDAVIT -stating the cause of loss/ theft of the RC book/ Smart card.
- No Traffic Case Report from Lalbazar Police Head Quarter.( for public vehicles Department – Kolkata , kasba , Saltlake )
- Photocopy of Tax Token
- Photocopy of Insurance
- Photocopy of Pollution Under Control certificate.
- Consent letter of financer if the vehicle is under hire purchase/hypothecation/lease agreement.
- Photocopy of Permit in case of Transport vehicle.
- Photocopy of Certificate of Fitness in case of transport vehicle.
- N.C.R.B. web report to be obtained.
